For tradeshows, traveling reps, etc. it would be helpful to have a PDA/handheld order entry system. Orders can be entered into the handheld via sku look-up or barcode scanning (for example, Socket scanner coupled with Microsoft handheld) with upload to follow at an Interprise user station. The handheld would contain the records for customers, inventory, and sales reps with the option more intensive data entry (such as complete customer details - especially when new) to happen during the upload processing stage.
