I'd love to see a utility that would allow importing of QB company files. The import utilities are too limited to work with.

I agree. We've been reselling accounting systems since 1991. The vast majority of companies in the last few years that are looking to upgrade their systems are coming from QuickBooks. We've done many QB data migrations. The challenge we've always run into was the amount of preconditioning the data required. QB is fairly lax in structure, data integrity, and controls.
We're looking into some solutions that would provide a more generic way to migrate the data from any datasource into Interprise Suite. We'd like to see the ability to import the static files like customers, venders, items, COA, etc. But also opening balance transactions and histories. With the right tool, I think we could build templates for various system imports. It would be great to have a template for Quick Books, Peachtree, Netsuite, etc.
I wouldn't doubt we see something for QB directly from IS development. But we've been bouncing ideas around between the other resellers and as IS gains traction, I think the right solution will be developed.
