I posted on the CBP back in October trying to find how to pass data from the form the plugin is sitting on to the plugin. I then worked on using the document code to search back to the original customer and collect the phone number from the customer record which I passed to my phone dialler plugin. Which worked fine except if it was a new order, the documentcode was blank and I couldnt pick up the information. Then on 21st Jan they posted an update recommending downloading your plugin,whicih I've done.
First let me say it's a brilliant tool and a really helpful piece of kit, now I have questions on it...having tried to use it in anger to help with couple of modifications our clients required
1. I am trying to find out which view is used on the purchase order grid, as we want to amend and add in a extra fields, can your tool be used to do this? I
2. I am also trying to add a plugin against the main Find customer screen (next to "write letter"), this is going to pick the phone number for the customer and dial it..
All I've got so far is adding the plugin to the main sales order screen, passing over the document code , retrieving the customer code associated with the order, then searching the customer table to get the phone number and dialling. However this only works for existing order not for new orders, I'm a little stuck on getting the customer code if the document code hasnt been populated.
Plus they really want to dial from the find customer screen not once they've selected the customer to do a new order, at which point I'm assuming document code would be the current customer but I can't seem to add a plugin at this point.
Is there any advice you can give me on what I'm doing wrong/how to add the plugin to the find customer screen?
